Mikki
Wednesday through Sunday at Qs Bar & Lounge and Palazzo Versace Dubai. The Dutch singer rose to prominence in her home country after appearing on the television talent show The Voice Holland. Mikki’s residency at the elegant jazz venue Q’s Bar and Lounge allows UAE fans to hear the artist regularly. Her concert will include jazz standards and R&B favorites, as well as original songs. Chicago
September 12–22 at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi. Chicago, the longest-running musical in Broadway history, tells the narrative of passion, murder, greed, treachery, and forgiveness. It premiered in 1975. Chicago depicts two extremely competitive women accused of murder, Roxie Hart, an ambitious jazz artist, and Velma Kelly, a vaudeville performer, as they compete for recognition to evade the death penalty. All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, and RazzleDazzle were among the show’s most popular tracks. Evening and matinée shows are available for Dh185.

Enrique Iglesias
September 13 at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai. Enrique Iglesias returns to Dubai for a complete show with popular English-Spanish songs like Balilando, Hero, and Bailamos. Showtime is 8.30 p.m., with tickets starting at Dh299.

Lucerne Festival Quintet with Alexander Malofeev
September 18-19 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi Alexander Malofeev, an acclaimed Russian pianist and composer, will be joined by four players from Switzerland’s famed Lucerne Festival Orchestra for concerts as part of the Abu Dhabi Classics. The program comprises works from the late Romantic period, such as Gabriel Faure’s Piano Quartet No. 1 and Johannes Brahms’ Quartet No. 3. The show begins at 8 pm and tickets cost Dh 50.

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9
Sept. 22 The National Polish Orchestra will perform one of the most well-known classical works in history. Symphony No. 9, first performed in 1824 after three years of composition, was Beethoven’s final work and was a watershed moment in musical history, marking the end of the Vienna Classical Period and the start of the Romantic period in the nineteenth century. The lines for the composition were derived from Friedrich Schiller’s poem Ode to Joy, which still reflects principles such as humanism, tolerance, and solidarity. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets cost Dh 260.

Carla Bruni
Sept. 27 This year will mark the former First Lady of France’s debut concert in the UAE. Renaissance Ballet
Abu Dhabi Classics’ latest round of shows kicks off on October 17 at Emirates Palace with an elegant evening of classic ballet. Life of Pi
November 15–17 at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi Based on Yann Martel’s 2001 best-selling colorful novel, the stage adaption depicts a shipwrecked 16-year-old boy’s adventures aboard a lifeboat with four animals, including a Royal Bengal tiger, for company. December 8th at Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi. Muse will perform the race-day concert at the 2024 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It will be the group’s second engagement in the concert series, following their regional debut on Yas Island in 2013. Fans may expect to hear classic tunes from the group’s 25-year career, as well as tracks from their most recent album, The Will of the People, which came out in 2022.

Sole DXB

Green Day & The Offspring
